Focusing on ballerinas, old architecture and the strong, diverse art world of the beautiful island and its mystery. Much more than the commonly seen images of Cuba with it's old cars and cigars. Carlos Alvarado intimately delves into the lives of many young, aspiring ballerinas and some of the many incredible Cuban artists striving to pursue their dreams daily. This is a project of hope, dreams, dedication, strength, and passion from within a country rich with history, culture and life. No room for politics here!
